I finally went for a short walk wearing a diaper under my usual clothes. I had built it up in my head for days. Then it started raining and I spent most of the walk wishing I'd brought a jacket. I know this isn't much of a story. That's why I wanted to post it.
The weather has no respect for a personal milestone.
It is a story, though. You did something that made you nervous and still had room to be annoyed about rain.
Next time: less internal monologue, more jacket.
