For me the awkward bit about nighttime protection was the whole bedtime ritual becoming a big event. Last night I put out my pyjamas, a diaper and clean bedding before dinner. When bedtime arrived there was nothing left to debate. Small thing, but it felt good.
Having everything ready changes the mood for me too. If I leave it until I'm exhausted, even finding a clean sheet feels personal.
Mine is a bedside drawer. No impressive system. Just the things I actually reach for.
A drawer would be an upgrade from my collection of half-open packets. That's this weekend sorted.
