I share a flat with another adult who doesn't know I'm ABDL. Last week I ordered diapers and spent far too much time checking the tracking page. I'd read the seller's packaging information, but I was still imagining the most obvious box ever arriving while I was out. My flatmate took the delivery. When I came home, the box was by my door. They said a parcel had arrived, then asked whether I'd bought washing-up liquid. That was the entire conversation. I'd prepared an explanation, a second explanation in case the first sounded odd, and an answer to a question nobody asked. Meanwhile, we actually did need washing-up liquid. I know that was just how this delivery went, and I still check the shipping details before ordering. But I do wonder how much energy I spend anticipating curiosity from someone who mostly wants me to replace things when I finish them. Anyone else sharing a home and overthinking the parcel part?

I prefer a pickup point when the seller offers one. I can collect it when it suits me, and that removes most of the tracking-page ritual. The packaging arrangements seem to differ between shops, so I ask if the information isn't clear.

My old housemate asked about every parcel, regardless of who it was for. Not maliciously, just very curious. I eventually got comfortable saying 'personal stuff' and leaving it there. I wasn't ready to talk about being ABDL with them.

'Personal stuff' is much shorter than the speech I had ready. Keeping that one. And yes, I bought the washing-up liquid.
