Saving my ABDL time for bedtime meant I kept missing it

For ages I kept telling myself I'd have some time in a diaper later, once everything else was done. Later usually turned out to be the point when I was already too tired to enjoy anything. I'd look at the clock, think about getting ready, and go straight to bed instead. Then I'd feel annoyed that another evening had disappeared. Which was a strange amount of pressure to put on something I usually find comforting. I've started making room for it earlier when I actually want to. Sometimes that's an hour with a book and a diaper under my pyjamas. Sometimes I get distracted by the book and forget about the rest. I can change into ordinary sleepwear afterwards if that's what feels comfortable that night. I still like the idea of a long, carefully planned ABDL evening. In practice, I seem to enjoy the unplanned hour more. Is anyone else always postponing this part of their life until they're too tired for it?

Sunday afternoon for me, if I have the place to myself. By bedtime my ambition is to locate the pillow. I like wearing diapers, but I don't want every evening to come with a plan I can fail to complete.

I actually enjoy the preparation. Choosing what to wear, putting my phone away, getting the room comfortable. If I only have twenty minutes, I'd usually rather leave it for another day. It took me a while to realise that rushing through it was why I felt disappointed afterwards.

That's interesting, Eden. I think the planning is part of the pleasure for you and part of the procrastination for me. I can spend the available hour deciding how to spend it.
